Having driven both.. TT is faster, Supercharged sounds better! (both ridiculously fast though)

I understand your frustration with GM. First, I am a car collector. Always loved corvettes as my first one was a 1962 C1. I purchased it way back in 1978. Still own it today, along with 6 other vettes, C2, C3, C4, C6, and my favorite, which is a C7 2019 ZR1 Coupe with the 3ZR trim package. I do own a 2022 C8 Z51 package with endless upgrades. I also was on the list at the same dealer for a Z06. After 18 months of no movement, I lost interest. So, I decided to treat myself to an upgrade instead. Just recently took delivery of my 2024 Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato Coupe AWD. It has 631 hp 5.2 V10. It is mind-blowing to say the leadt. Yes, the price sticker was twice as much as the Z06, but they are also not apples for apples! The Lambo is far superior. It's GM's loss! I am more than satisfied with the 22 C8 Z51 at a price point all in at $109,000k. I give GM credit for finally making the mid-engine. It was an 8 month wait for the 22' C8. 12k miles, no issues! I just don't agree with the approach that GM continued with post covid. I just can't wrap my head around C8 allocations and how the Z06 ate into the overall C8 allocations. My wife will just have to settle with her 2022 Ferrari F488 Pista. She's happy, so I am thrilled. The other perk is that she's hotter than her car! Enjoy your rides!

@philmannino4567 As a car collector for 35 years, mostly exotics, corvettes, and muscle cars, you're correct as it's a hard find from a factory design. I own a 2019 ZR1, a 2017 Grand Sport, which has been heavily worked up to 840 HP. I have Lambo's, Ferrari's, Porsche, Aston Martin, and McLaren's, but the cost is north of $200k to $1m. Then, of course, Bugatti, Koenigsegg, Pagani, and Hennessy north of $1m to $8m. I love corvettes, but I wouldn't spend $175k plus for the Z06. We have two C8s, a 2022 Z51 LT2 GT2 seats Coupe Attic White exterior with the two tone black and red interior with every option, and a 2024 Z51 LT2 GT2 seats Convertible with the StingrayR option Orange exterior/black interior. For the price point GM has delivered. We use them and enjoy them immensely. This is only my opinion.

I left the carbon fiber off my build for the same reason you said and went with Hypersonic Gray body and Carbon Flash wheels, door check , mirror caps, low profile spoiler, nacelles and convertible hardtop roof. This keeps everything that is black in the same tone of color. The result is stunning.
